Why polypropylene clean benches?

Polypropylene clean benches are great solutions for most ISO 5 (Class 100) applications. Why? Well, first of all, polypropylene can’t rust, even after many years of hard use. Second, the construction is seamless, allowing for easy cleanup and maintenance. Third, polypropylene is entirely chemical resistant.
Another advantage of these units is that they are plug-and-play: no installation is required beyond plugging them into a standard 110V outlet (or 220V, depending on electrical configuration). The dual wall construction allows for front mounting of water, gas, or electrical outlets. The unit also has a lab event timer and digital UV light timer.

Depending on the application, this unit can also be fitted with a UPLA filter, which allows it to trap more and more minor particulate matter than a traditional HEPA filter. UPLA filters are 99.999% effective at removing submicron matter of 0.12-micron diameter or larger. The higher efficiency rating is due to the increased density of the filter medium.
Another reason we like polypropylene hoods is their easy delivery and set-up. When delivering to local customers, our movers can bring the hoods into a lab or cleanroom, lift the unit onto the stand, and set it in place.
