We’ve sold a lot of incubator shakers over the years. These days most units that we sell are the ‘pizza oven’ style of stackable units – the New Brunswick Innova I26 for example, or Thermo Scientific MaxQ 8000. But recently we can across the Eppendorf New Brunswick S41i model and we’re impressed.
The S41i is a CO2 incubator with a built-in New Brunswick shaker. It features a comprehensive and rapid analysis of real-time and historical conditions; a large, easy-to-read display for quick viewing of multiple parameters, help screens, trend graphs and diagnostics; an intuitive controller that lets you quickly change environmental and alarm settings, perform on-screen troubleshooting and diagnostics; 72-hour continuous data logging and detailed record of temperature, alarms, door openings, and environmental conditions; and password protected settings and alarm set points.

The drawback to the S41i is decreased capacity when compared to the larger models like the I26. But the advantage is the space saving that comes with a significantly reduced footprint. The S41i measures about 35” x 29”, close to the footprint of a traditional CO2 incubator like the Thermo 3110, so if you’re a small lab with lower throughput needs this is certainly a factor to take into consideration.
So if you’re looking for a space-saving, reliable incubator shaker, please give us a call or email today about the Eppendorf New Brunswick S41i. Thanks!
