The Thermo CryoExtra 20 is designed for both vapor-phase and liquid-phase cryogenic storage and can accept either vertical and horizontal racks, giving your lab flexibility and adaptability.
With the Thermo CryoExtra 20 your samples are well taken care of, too: four thermistors monitor both the fill and control LN2 levels to ensure proper levels. Self diagnostics ensure reliable sensor functioning. Monitor features: current temperature display, high temperature alarm, LN2 level and alarms, sensor fail alarm and filling status. Additionally, the lid and neck design ensures stable temperature even during lid openings, conserving liquid nitrogen and maintaining temperature with less fluctuation, increased efficiency and reduced waste. And on top of that the de-fog switch allows you to quickly and easily locate samples so that open lid time is minimized.
And for user comfort and convenience a stainless platform near the vessel opening provides a flat surface for ergonomic rack placement and speeding sample recovery. The Thermo CyroExtra 20 also has a folding step and interior trap door for sub-carousel access.
