The Baker Edgegard EG4252 has been the most consistently popular 4’ wide clean bench in our inventory for many years. It’s a durable, well-designed machine from The Baker Company, a name synonymous with quality laboratory products.
Like all laminar flow clean benches, the Baker EG4252 assures product protection and is used in pharmaceutical production, research laboratories, manufacturing facilities, aerospace, bioscience, food processing, hospitals, and other research and production environments, and assure product protection by only allowing HEPA filtered air to cross the work surface.
The Baker EG4252 is a console style clean bench, meaning that the bottom-mounted motor draws air through the lower front panel and sidewall section slots. Then the pre-filter traps dust and large particles, after which the air travels through a HEPA filter at an average velocity of 100 fpm before being directed horizontally across the work surface.
